The Weeknd kicks off European tour in Portugal

The weekend just announced his death After Hours Til Dawn in Portugal. Day June 6 marks the start of the European tour in Walk of Algés. Tickets go on sale February 4th at 10am, at and the usual outlets.

Kaytranada and Mike Dean join the artist for the first part of the show across all European dates.

After Hours Til Dawn tour ticket holders will receive a commemorative NFT as well as access to an exclusive NFT collection for the tour. Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations World Food Program, is once again partnering with the UN’s WFP to contribute funds from this second leg of the tour to the XO Humanitarian Fund, a fund that supports the response of the organization in the global hunger crisis. At each show, €1 will be reversed for every ticket sold in Europe, £1 in the UK and the equivalent of USD 1 in Latin American countries. The first donation from the North American tour (proceeds from ticket sales, an exclusive tour shirt and a direct artist donation of $500,000) raised US$2 million, which will provide food and nutrition assistance to the most food insecure areas of Ethiopia.
