The innovation is part of “The Adventure of Growing” update, which adds new interactions with babies and children, in addition to the inclusion of a new area in the game. According to the developer, the newborns will learn to crawl and it will be necessary to take good care of them.

As the babies will be more free, the game will add new objects like locks and fences to keep the babies safe in the environment. But the biggest news is the possibilities of interaction with newborns. Despite being short lived (in-game), all family members will be able to interact with the newborn and follow his developmental milestones such as crawling and walking.
To keep the task from getting too tiring, EA also said they’ve improved the behavior of little ones so they don’t constantly demand to be removed from the chair or stroller. Nevertheless, the Care and constant interaction will unlock traits that will be important during your Sim’s adolescence and adulthood.
The Sims 4: The Growing Up Adventure
In the update, Simmers will have the opportunity to explore new family bonds through different interaction dynamics. It will be possible to watch your Sim grow from baby to adulthood. According to Maxis and Electronic Arts, in The Adventure of Growing Up expansion, “family is at the center of many of the choices and milestones a Sim will face.” Will your Sim let their parents move in with them? How can Yes or No affect family dynamics? The A Aventura de Crescer expansion promises new interaction dynamics between Sims, as well as a new area for players to explore and have fun.
