If there were any doubts, the biker style trend put them to rest. The biker jacket has become a style icon that will not leave the millennial wardrobe. It’s hard not to associate the piece with musical icons like Jim Morrison, Mick Jagger or Freddie Mercury, but Kate Moss, a catwalk muse, didn’t abandon the basics during the 90s.
Recently, other celebrities have given the coat a new look. Rosalía, one of the biggest musical phenomena of our time, is one of the people responsible for this renewed fascination with the trend. In her new era, when the album ‘Motomami’ was released in March this year, the singer acquired an aesthetic identity with many models.
Unlike the original biker jacket, created by Irving Scott in 1928, jackets are no longer just black. In the case of Parfois, the Portuguese brand chose a model with a leather effect in white with red details on the inside of the sleeves. An informal and bold choice to achieve a bad image.
The design features a round neckline with press studs and a zip fastening at the front. Another fashion trend is the functionality of utility pieces, so the four front pockets are a plus.

At the show for the cold season 2015 of Vetements, the main responsible for the trend, a model appeared in a heavy leather coat, which clashed with shades of red and blue. The brand has always been known for bringing unusual elements into luxurious propositions and, with this creation, it has done it again and sowed the seeds.
