Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin arrives cheaper on Steam in April

The “permanent discount” will be applied to this new version

After a year of exclusivity with Epic Games on PC, Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is headed to Steam and arrives on April 6th. In the announcement Koei Tecmo states that this the new version will be “permanently discounted”that is, it will arrive cheaper on Valve’s platform.

While the statement is interesting, the price of Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin for Steam has yet to be revealed. Additionally, the phrase “now available to download at a new affordable price” at the end of the newly released trailer, seen in the tweet above, confirms the lower price.

Square Enix games aren’t usually cheap on Steam

Considering that Square Enix is the publisher of the game and that Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is the cheapest title among the big releases, costing R$ 219.90, we can imagine that the price of Final Fantasy Origin is something close to that.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is a game from Koei Tecmo, the same studio responsible for two recent expressive titles: Wild Hearts and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, games in which the focus is sophisticated combat with different mechanics.

The studio’s specialty is also reflected in Final Fantasy Origin, which is even called Final Fantasy soulslike, with rhythmic combat, different classes and high difficulty, in addition to RPG elements.

The game doesn’t have a Steam page yet, but the system requirements on the Epic Games page recommend the following:
