Steve Jobs’ Favorite New Balances Get Cooler (And There’s a Size for Everyone)
Tacky or not, many parents love matching clothes with kids. This model’s numbers start at 16.
Some love it, some hate it. When it comes to choosing the right clothes, opinion is not unanimous and can even be a cause for debate. Put your hands in the air if you’ve never seen a photo of a trend-conscious influencer or friend with the whole family dressed the same and thought it was funny.
From plaid combinations that never go out of style, with bows and shoes in the mix, to more modern and relaxed looks, the important thing is that everyone looks their best. Also why many families take advantage of this pretext to take the famous group photos that will accompany us for the rest of our lives. And if the most classic options are already considered outdated, the sportiest ones are the most sought after.
With that in mind, we came up with the perfect suggestion to use next weekend. These are the sneakers that New Balance recently released — and no one is left out. From 16 to 47.5, for children, men and women: there are options for everyone.
The 990v6 manages to deconstruct any more formal look, making it more cool and modern, like the ones you see on so many women you follow on social media. These sneakers from the American brand promise to be a real hit. Anyone who likes to stay up to date with trends has surely seen quite a few looks on social media featuring this model.
The combination of sporty style (which is fashionable to use on a daily basis) looks good in any outfit. Mainly because of the color they are made in: grey. Flexibility is, therefore, one of the key points that lead so many to bet on this model.
Allied to this, the The 990v6 has everything we’ve come to expect from New Balance. It is a model that celebrates the technology of the brand that gives them the necessary comfort all cases. “The original designers of the 990 were asked to create the best running shoe on the market. The end result more than met the requirements,” the website states.
When it first hit the shelves in 1982, the model quickly became synonymous with style and quality. Time passed, demand remained steady and production never stopped. This version reflects just that: “an updated premium experience”.
It is no coincidence, then, that in the 2000s sneakers became even more popular. The 990 was the model of choice for one of the most important figures in the technology industry: Steve Jobs. The inventor was known for his casual style and for always wearing a uniform of sorts: black sweatshirts, straight-cut jeans, a Seiko watch and New Balance trainers.
The new women’s version is sold at €250, in sizes 35 to 43. The men’s version, although it has the same price, is available from sizes 40 to 47.5. As for children, the choice is more difficult. You will have to choose between five models (with or without laces) ranging from €47.50 to €120.
If you’re thinking of updating your sports wardrobe, you’ll be happy to know that Sport Zone is on sale until February 28th.
