Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 updates in detail!

Activision has revealed what’s new for Season 2: Reloaded, the interim update for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 that launches on March 15. Over on the PS Blog, details on the new multiplayer map and other new features have been released.

One of the great additions is episode 2 of Incursions (the famous Raids). Together with two other players, control Captain Price, Farah and Faz in a new mission located in Atomgrad, where they will need to stop a “deadly warhead”.

If you haven’t played the first chapter of Raids yet, now is the time to do so. In Season 2 Reloaded, Modern Warfare 2 owners will be able to enjoy any Raid episode. By going there, it will be possible to better understand the events of the function.

With a new map, the old multiplayer modes are back

Featuring a sauna, pool, restaurant and snow-filled streets, the Himmelmatt Expo map will pit two teams of up to six players against each other. It will go into the Quickplay map rotation and other playlists for the season.

Speaking of game modes, three options already known to the community will be added to the 15th:

• Delivery Zone
• All or nothing
• one on the drum

Tempus Torrent and Shuriken

The Tempus Torrent Sniper Rifle, a brand new weapon, will be available to players of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. To unlock it, just get 25 double kills with gear of the same class or buy it from packs in the shop.

Along with this, Shurikens appear as the new item options. They will appear in Ashika Island’s Resurgence mode and cannot be selected from the weapon menu. Once used, ninja stars do not recharge.

The Destroyer is coming to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0

Straight from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe, the Shredder skin, also known as Oroku Saki, has been confirmed as one of the cosmetics. Your pack will have two weapon layouts, Dual Kodachis (their blades that stay on your arms), weapon vinyl, vehicle skin for the light tank, and a hanging weapon.

Warzone becomes 3 and players will receive gifts

Starting March 10, seven prizes will be offered to celebrate three years of Call of Duty Warzone. Just check the store daily to get the free products prepared for the event. Among the prizes will be weapon designs, cards and emblems.

New feature for groups

Logged in to play and your friend is already playing? In the new season, you will be able to wait in a lobby where voice chat is enabled for communication. Once the match is over, the two are queued together — the host will need to change game mode in some cases after their session is over.
