The Epic Games Store is Steam’s main competitor for selling video games on PC. To beat the competition, the platform bets on the free distribution of certain titles, which are renewed weekly. There are also names like League of Legends, from Riot Games, and the anime-looking RPG Genshin Impact, which are already free and, in some cases, appearing on other platforms.

Epic Games’ biggest hit, Fortnite is a battle royale shooter where you have to survive on an island where 99 other people are trying to kill you. In it, players take control of the mysterious “Traveler”, who is transported to the unknown world of Teyvat where he must find his twin brother, who disappeared along the way. The title has a system dude in which characters are randomly released and can be switched between them during gameplay.

Dauntless is a game with Fortnite-like graphics created by Phoenix Labs, a production company created by former employees of Riot Games and Blizzard. In this action RPG focused on cooperative multiplayer, you are a killer whose main goal is to hunt — Monster Hunter: World style — giant beasts known as Behemoths.

Developed by Psyonix Studios, Rocket League turns soccer matches into explosive cart battles. The proposition is quite simple: players use their cars to hit the ball and push it into the opponent’s goal. However, the title also offers a lot of features that make jumping, dodging and hitting the “pelata” easier.
